“Teufel packs faultless stereo into a compact enclosure and tops it all off with Bluetooth. The Kombo 22 micro hi-fi system comes with 60 watts, a CD/MP3 receiver, USB port, and lively VT11 2-way bookshelf speakers for a mere € 250.
The CD receiver KB 22 CR can play back audio CDs, CD R’s, and CD RWs and is also equipped with a USB 2.0 interface. [...]
The speakers [VT 11, Anm] have a very sleek appearance, but exhibit characteristics that are very unusual for inexpensive speakers: The corners are rounded in the back and instead of cheap LS terminal clamps, there are proper screw terminals. With the Kombo 22, Teufel has added a small stereo system with a pleasantly strong sound, a winning combination of stable levels, dynamic overall performance, and natural acoustics to their product portfolio. Modern media aspects were taken into consideration with an integrated Bluetooth function and the USB connection. The little system exhibits solid workmanship and has a very fair price, as we’ve come to expect from Teufel. The down side: The CD drive could be quieter, and the VT 11 is not exactly a design wonder. [...]
